At Fit4taal we take our students’ learning very seriously; from our own experience we know how crucial it is to learn Dutch in order to achieve professional success and obtain all the permits needed to build a career in the Netherlands.
In this short article we will share the behind-the-scenes of our preparation to welcome you into our programmes.
Everything starts several months in advance with detailed planning that involves all our departments; we love to innovate and create experiences and knowledge. Every team, within its area, develops contributions for the new groups—from the images we will use, to new educational ideas and surprises, updated programme plans, book guides, and even licences and links to the platforms we will use. It is a very complex yet exciting logistics process.
All our students first go through interviews or assessments, and each case is analysed by an advisor who is an expert in our programmes. Together with the evaluators, they guide our students towards their best educational option.
Simultaneously, the academic team approves lesson plans, activities, study calendars, student placement, sends digital books, and carries out all the preparation for their classes.
It is worth highlighting that all our teachers are selected under high standards, with some of them being native in two languages, having proven experience, a positive attitude, and knowledge of innovative tools for dynamic lessons, among other qualities. These characteristics give us the tools to ensure that, together with our students’ dedication, the dream of learning Dutch can be achieved in a short time.
We care a great deal about your feedback; that is why our planning also includes feedback evaluation tools in all our courses, where students share their experience during the programmes and with the teacher.
And suddenly, after months of planning, coordination, and plenty of logistics, your first day of class arrives. You meet your coaching and grammar teachers and embark on this adventure of learning Dutch and discovering the culture. There you will meet many fellow Latin American, English-speaking, or Portuguese-speaking colleagues. Remember that one of our main strengths as a school is that our teachers speak your native language, so we offer Spanish-Dutch, English-Dutch, or Portuguese-Dutch programmes, meaning your network will also grow.
